Status: offline 		FOR THE MANY P-51 PEOPLE, what is the CG ON the real aircraft?
from reading BUD ANDERSON'S book i know the fuse gas tank
caused all kinds of problems with the CG.

Status: offline 		Dan...The extra 40 gallons did make for interesting T/O's as mentioned by a number of pilots........very sensative elevator....I just quickly went thru a couple P-51 books..no mention of CG.....not exactly sure on aerodynamic influence of laminar wing on CG but more than likely CG is 25%-30% MAC.......Bill.....
