What Mooney Bravo kit (even if it is 3 grand) or plans do you know about? I have been looking for some Mooney plans and or kits with little success. I ran across and ad for Tri R models in Ohio in a 1980 issue of Scale RC Modeler that produced a 201 kit but they are long gone. So far I have not found anyone that bought their kit when it was being produced. The Aerotech Mooney PFM seems to get the most interest but at 6 grand that is way out of my league!

Honestly mooney, let me dig up some old links and see if I can find what it was. It was a BEAUTIFUL kit I had found, but I don't remember who made it.

Howdy texaggie08,
'95 Aero Aggie and Mooney owner here....let me know if you ever do come up with a Mooney kit, as I'd love to have one myself. I've been toying with the idea of scratch building one using dimensions off my 1966 M20E, but I simply don't have the time to mess with it right now. Besides that, I don't know where to get anything resembling scale gear as the Mooneys have a very unique landing gear. Perhaps some sort of readily available retract system with clever camoflage would give an approximate scale Mooney look.

Gig 'Em Ags...

Scott
