Those sound like excellent choices. If you want to build, A GP Ultra Sport 40 would be another great choice

A buddy of mine has one in his Twist 40 with an APC 12x6 prop, it flies quite well. He also hast one in his Showtime 50 with an APC 12x6 prop, which I don't think he is happy with, but from what I've seen it looks like it flies well also, maybe not the right prop for that combo. I have a new Twist 40 and just ordered a new 55 AX for it, I'm going to try it with an APC 13x4W and see how it flies. I also have a Showtime 50, but it's powered with an ASP 80 4 stroke and proped with an APC 14x4w, flies quite well with lots of power to spare.
Good luck, I hope my info is some help, as I also have a hard time decidingwhat to fly next.

Go to COXMODELS.COM and purchase the ULTIMATE 40 for $119 + shipping. You will not regret it.

I've got one in a an OMP Edge 540 profile and I love it. I'm building the fusion kit and I originally planned on a 4-stroke but now I think I may buy another .55. It runs great and does't cost an outrageous amount.

Had my 55AX a BH Sukhoi Su-31 but never ran right form the start which could have been tank mounting (which I doubt) or more likley air presure within the cowl or simply didnt like to be side mount.

Any of the plane you guys mention here are they side or inverted in mounting?

Like the idea of OMP 52" Fusion X3D ARF. Its a pattern, 3D. F3A plane all in one. I like the idea of a plane thats everything.

I am currently mounting my OS 55 AX on my GreatPlanes Extra 330S ARF 40 size.
It will be flying fast enough like a rocket with an APC 11x6!

Mine is in a Strega mounted about 45 degrees over so the muffler exits at the bottom. Tried various props with the APC 12x6 wailing with unlimited vertical, the 12x7 flattening into a hover at climb, and a 12x8 pulling solidly at all speeds but with a limited vertical. I like the 12x8 for it's lower rpms and pulling power at all speeds. Visually, all three props yield a similar max speed.

I guess Kostas1 likes to live dangerously. Camera man should be holding the plane, not the camera. Anyhow here's my COX ULTIMATE 40 w/55AX.
