my 55ax is in a phoenix dolphin. flying GREAT!

At the moment it only has an 11x6 prop as I didnt want the plane to shoot off too quickly but i´m going to try heading up to 12x5 or 6 or so...
at the moment i´m a bit weary about ground clearance so may be stuck with 11" props but i´ll be investigating more with props this weekend, and balancing the plane as best I can through the week after its first test flights.

ceecrb1:

Try an MAS 12x7 Scimitar. You'll be astonished.

I have one on my Lanier Mariner 40, with the 55AX, and it has a really strong vertical.

Has anyone tried a Great Planes Ultimate 40 with the 55AX? I thought this might be a good combination. Daren

Got mine on a Kyosho Calmato Sport, a Hangar-9 Pulse XT 40 and a Hanger-9 Showtime 50.

Awsome awsome engine, took me a while to get the right prop for my style of flying, ended up running an APC 12x7.

i tried a 13-4 on the clipped lt and the thing pulls like a tractor great verticle off the ground in ft not yards and flys like a big stick!it is about 30% faster than my lt 40 with a 46 ax that one was left stock flys really good goes as slow as you want or is faster than most trainers.
