Hi,

Well, first of all, let me apologize to those of you who thought I was going to build this as a DF. After careful consideration, and after the advent of the upcoming P-70, I decided to go ahead and build the kit for turbine power. I'm sorry if I led you on, but you gotta do what you gotta do.....

Anyway, this isn't intended to be an AD or an ENDORSEMENT or anything. I will leave all adjectives OUT. If you already have one of these airplanes, I hope this helps you out with construction.

Shaun,

Go ahead and do it!!! The more the merrier I say... Often, more is learned from constructing the model and shown here on RCU than to just ask a specific question. Many of the things learned have also applied to other models.

Hi Shaun,

As we spoke on the phone yesterday.....any info you could provide us DF guys would be helpful on that aircraft. With all this new fangled turbine stuff on the market now, some of us 'old fashoned' DF guys sometimes feel like we have been left out! lol. Tips, tricks, and what worked for you are always good to have....on anything. Pics are most welcome too.

Thank you again for taking the time to speak with me yesterday. Like I told you, when I get back from this business trip, I'll call you with my F-16 order!

Talk soon.
Jeff

Shaun,

It is an absolute must! The new F-16 is on my wish list, I actually wanted it instead of the stingray but since this will be my first turbine , I figured I would go the cheaper route and then graduate up to the F-16, I have a lot of plans when I get it someday!

Ok,

Here's what I want to know. How do you guys get these big, crisp looking pics in here??? Everytime I try to upload a photo, it tells me it's too big. I go in the pic editor and resize it down until it looks like a picture of a Lego jet, and it still says it's too big. What gives???

Help.....

Shaun, I use Photoshop Elements, PS 7 has this as well. Under the File menu there is a Save For Web option. This makes it very easy to get the exact right size. I believe you can also post a link to a picture that you have on a server of you own and it can be very large. Lets see some pics of the scale gear!

Bob
