Im a newbie at this helicopter thing and would like to know if you can use the pitch kit on a Piccolo that does not have the piccolo pro board

no you do not need to have the piccoboard pro to fly the piccolo with the pitch kit. the difference between the regular piccoboard and the pro piccoboard is the output FET. the piccoboard or the plus piccoboard handles about 6 amps and the pro piccoboard handles about 9-13 amps (i think).
i started out using brushless ever since and worked very reliable. it's been over three years already. never bothered to mess with the piccoboard. if you want reliable power and torq. this is the way to go.
