You know, you can edit your posts so you don't have to keep posting over and over, lol, makes it look like you're talking to your self . You really don't need to make any modifications to it at all, It should have a steel spur gear already, and yes the SH28 will fit in it, but I think you will be preaty happy for the most part with the engine it's coming with. It also quite possible that it will come with an SH 28. The radio you should be able to get Exceed to warrenty it if you have a problem with it right away. Yes, you shouldn't have any trouble finding parts on our website for you car, just look under Redcat/Earthquake or you can do a part search on the bottom left using part numbers.

Check your radio, by putting batteries in it and the remote and then have someone hold the front end in the air and you walk away working the remote in some sort of sequence and the person holding the front end up is going to watch to make sure the servos are working and not twitching all kinds of crazy, walk about 100 yards or so. Matter of fact read this:

Quick Start Guide:

HOLY CRAP, that guy charged you 10 bucks for that, we do it for free. When we get people that are new to the hobby I give them a class free real quick on starting there nitro car and running it, hell I even start it up for them and make sure it works. Man there are some seriously twisted hobby shops out there. I hate most of the owners of the shops around here, matter of fact I'm not even allowed in about 6 stores in the area, because there old customers go in there and throw it in there face about all the free stuff we do for them, LOL.

Don't feel stupid man, it happens if you're new to the hobby there is going to be lots of stuff you don't know and you will learn as you go.

no not a site you can buy from they are a franchise, so the website is pretty much for people that want to buy a franchise, there is some general info like locations and so on. We have 4 of them here in Dallas/Fort Worth and I hate the people that work in every one of them, lol. Usually though Hobby town will have alot of nitro accessories, so you should be ok on some stuff. Ya 20% is a good fuel to use.

Oh man your lucky you cought it, that's a receipe for disaster right there, lol. Bet your heart skipped a beat or two when that happened, lol

May I suggest that instead of priming the engine by adding gas to the carburator, you may want to hold your finger over the carburator to choke it and give it a couple pulls. You will notice fuel coming through the line. When the fuel reaches the carburator take your finger off. Attach the glow plug ignitor and give it a pull. It sounds like your problem is that the fuel is not getting to the engine. By starting it my way you ensure that the fuel is there when the engine starts.
