I am posting this to help you folks out a bit. I ordered a Double Trouble P-51 D 60. The problem that I have is that you did not include a hardware list (ie. control rods, horns, wheels, collars, tanks ect) in the descrption of the model. It would be very helpful to buyers to list everything that comes with the kit. The reason I am bringing this to your attention is because I will get the kit within the next week or so then probably have to place a second order for the items that I will need to complete it. I cannot tell where you have the servos, particularly on the wing for both the retracts and the ailerons and therefore do not know what servo extentions or Y harnesses I might need. I live 250miles north of the arctic circle so parts and accessories are always two weeks away. So I guess it will take me a month to build this kit as I will have to place a second order after receiving it. This is just a suggestion to help you with future sales!
If anyone out there has built this kit I would really appreciate a detailed (what I need to finish) list. Thanks Skip

Arctic

While your request is good, often documentation errs from any company.

My orders from Tower or Nitro take a bit over a week to 10 days so I'm in the same boat as you.

Wait until you get the plane and take the opportunity to go over it.

MEASURE the servo openings, etc. That way you can check the specs online and order exactly the right thing.

Remember that say a servo opening often is slightly SMALLER than the model allows for because of the sheeting.

These are things that require visual inspection.

Usually it takes me two orders of parts to complete a model, and even then I have to run 45 minutes to a somewhat poorly stocked LHS to pick up an item or two...

By the time I'm at the electronics installation stage I ALWAYS find that I need one small but important item.

Nitroplanes kits include most of the pushrods, control horns, etc.

You need to supply all servos, servo screws & fittings, fueling tubes, fuel dots, anti-vibration engine mounts ( an engine mount is usually included but not drilled out ), batteries, Y adapters, muffler extensions, fuel filters, Top-Flite Clear Koat ( A MUST!!!!! ), often spinners, props, pilot, switches, charging adapters, foam, scrap balsa for modifications, glues, etc.

Usually I change out the tail wheels and tail gear, a control horn or two, and some clevises.

Have on hand extra metric and SAE screws for what developes... and collars with grub screws.

I've taken to ordering extension cables by the dozen. Much cheaper that way from certain places...

opjose- wow I wish I could get my orders that fast. I used to live in Maryland and had a great hobby shop just over the border in PA. When I said 2 weeks that was conservative it usually takes 3 and I am delightfully surprized when anything comes earlier. My problem here is the short flying season. By Mid September our winter is here with all its fury and flying outside is history. I was hoping to get this thing built by the second week of August and at least get one month in. If I have to make two orders to get it done....well I guess there is next summer. I noticed on their new release the P-38 they have a pretty good list of what is needed to complete the model to include the extensions and y harnesses. I am going to order a bunch of them so in the future I will have them. In the 50's here I'll bet its HOT in good ole MD. Skip

Yeah it's hot, but at least we can fly...

Ouch the withdrawal from such a short flying season would be BRUTAL...

I switch to micro elec heli's, cars, and this winter some indoor micro plane stuff in the gym. If I didn't have the local gym I'd go nuts! Skip
