I just picked up this controller on E-Bay and I can't seem to get it to work with FMS on XP. I checked out the device through "Game Controllers" in the control panel and it recognizes the device and the controls on it. However, when I try to calibrate in FMS per the instructions it doesn't seem to do anything. I'm not really sure what I should be looking for but the bars during calibration just seem to be bouncing. I can't fly a model; the sim doesn't seem to respond to the controls.

I haven't been able to find any information about this so anyone with experience using this controller on XP with FMS I would greatly appreciate some tips.

Thanks

Okay, I figured one thing out. The ESKY controller works fine on my notebook computer. The only difference between that and my desktop is that the desktop has a USB keyboard and a wireless USB mouse. I suppose it's possible there could be a conflict there. Anyone else experience that type of problem? Maybe I'll try plugging in a PS2 mouse and see what happens.

Another question. I'm working with the Easy Star model for FMS and my actual radio is a 3-channel. The ESKY is a 4-channel so the left controller controls both the throttle and the rudder while the right control controls the elevator. Is this the expected behavior? Is there anyway to switch the controls so that the right stick controls the rudder so it will be more like my TX (HiTec Neon-SS).

Thanks.

I have received a 4 channel transmitter 0404D with an USB cable inside a plane kit box
I'm sure there is a conflict with my logitech USB mouse because I can see the channels bars moving when I move the mouse and it works without the mouse but I must reboot first the pc. It's a toshiba notepad so I have also a touchpad
