Hey guys,
As an FYI...
The Airworld/Moki 150 radial does not fit in the Ziroli P-47 and since the Robart P-47 is a copy I doubt that it was enlarged. You would have to modify the cowl by enlarging it. It can be done with some work. It places the cowl out of scale though. The AW/Moki 215 is a perfect match for the T-28. We should have the retracts and wing kit completed shortly. We will also have an additional full cockpit for the ultimate in scale realism.

I would love to have a RAZORBACK version of the P-47 Ziroli from robart.
Does anyone following this thread think that a person could substitute
the bubble canopy setup for a razorback if i were to get a razorback kit
or something from Ziroli? Robart does not offer the ARF in razorback form.
I think Ziroli has a razorback version available but im not sure.

I wish this would have been in a Razor back version!
A Magnum 5cl radial would work for this one.

It would take some doing.... But then it wouldn't be a ARF now would it!

LOL....
I get ehat you are saying......
3,000.... is out of my price range right now.....
That is what it would cost plane+engine+ electronics...

If you go for a real pricy engine, well you get my pict.....

I am unemployed right at the moment......
I don't think my wife would think to highly about this purchase.....

Divorce papers? Anyone?

It looks like a nice plane though....

Justin

See
http://www.robart.com/P-47%20ARF.aspx
for prices.

Yeh, I would have liked to get one but house taxes just came up plus Master card: bummer.
Pay in advance was a very good discount but that was only effective until Jan 31.

If you want a Ziroli Jug in Razorback form, you'll have to build it. Here's mine with a Sach 5.2, it's one step better than an ARF......it's RTF!

Some Robart vendor (may have been Robart themselves) had a BUNCH of thse out in front of their tent at Top Gun 2008. They looked OK. Nothing spectactular, but nothing horrible either. The build quality looked good, especially the formers inside the glass fuse.

The gear was typical robart stuff.

They had Major Glen Eagleston's bird and Lt. Col. Ben Mayo's birds sitting on the shipping boxes.

I didn't take any pictures of the planes (I think), but I will doubt check.
