Of course you can pre-order online. We've had this option now for I think two weeks. I've heard from the shipper they left via truck frieght last Friday from CA headed to OH. You can also call OMP on the phone to order if you are not comfortable with online. Crashflyer, if you have a local hobby shop that would like to become a dealer just have them contact us.

Believe me, this is a well made plane. I just bought my first OMP edge v3 from a hobby store in TX and I was really surprised at the nice job of covering and all other aspects of this plane.

I just ordered an OMP Edge 540 V3 and am waiting shipment. I know that everyone recommends the OS 55AX as an ideal engine for this plane but I don't currently own one. Rather than buy a new engine, I would like to use one that I currently have which would be an OS 46AX or a Saito .91. I feel that the 46AX may be a little small but would the Satio .91 be too much. According to the specs, the Saito .91 weighs 19.6 oz (which is only 1.1 oz more than the OS 55AX) so I don't see a problem with weight.

Has anyone flown with a Satio .91 on the Edge?

A 12.25x3.75 apc prop will work great on the 46 ax on the 540 edgeV3

nice one neel. are you using a 91 four stroke? i used to fly this plane with a 46fx long ago. i still have it and after seeing ypur video want to fly it again....a 55AX perhaps?

btw....great soundtrack on the video..what is it?

Thanks for all the feedback. After watching Tictock's video, I think the Satio .91 is the way I'll go.
