GREAT NEWS, TRUCK COMPANY SAYS THEY ARE DUE TO US THIS MORNING BETWEEN 1000-1200 EST. How's that for an up to date report.

John and I will get them unloaded and if we can beat the UPS pickup times we might even get some shipped today. Otherwise all backorders will go out tomorrow. If you have been waiting for "In stock" status to order you better jump on it now. This shipment is selling fast and I don't anticipate having them too long.

This is my 540. I think its a V1. I acquired it several months ago and I just got it back together. I have an O.S. 70 on it. I only have two flights so far. This is my second full year flying RC but, Wow! I'm going to hae fun with this! I went from a Eagle II Trainer to a Big Stik 60 to this!!! I also have an Irvine 53. Thinking about that V3 for that one.

n8kny, how is the power with the O.S. 70, and which prop size are you running? I have been dabating on which engine to mount on the Edge. I have a brand new O.S. .70 Ultimate (pumped) and feel it may be enough power to hover. What do you think?

AirTech,

Oh man! I'm the wrong guy to ask about 3D stuff. I'm getting there and plan to practice with this 540. Right now I'm tickled too death to do rolls, loops and stall truns. Once my confidence is up I will get to the hovering stuff. Hopfully within the next dozen flights (or at least try). I can tell you this, I have the older O.S. 70 (non-surpass) with a 12x6 prop, 3004's all around and seems to fly great. The hover pull outs I can't comment on yet.

No problem, I understand. I am not a 3D hotdog myself. I am mostly concerned about overall power and it seems that you have plenty with the .70 so far. BTW I have a Great Planes 40 size Chapman with a .70 Surpass that flies very scalelike aerobatics. It weights about seven pounds and I have found out it flies the best with a 13 X 8 Evolution prop. Only thing, since is cowled you must run it rich, otherwise it get to hot. The O.S. .70's are very good engines for most applications. Good luck

N8KNY, I recognize that Edge and yes it is a V1 from a long time ago. I even had pics of it on some older webpages. Amazing it is still around and you better take care of it cause it sure is pretty.

Oh Gee! Added Pressure! LOL. I'll do my best! I really do like it! In fact the V3 and Boxxer look like kits I need to build. I like Bipe's.

It's the bathroom scales that lie. That's why the ladies buy them. <GGGG>

Now that's funny. I remember the old bathroom scales my mom got when I was a kid. There was an adjustment wheel on the back you could turn to calibrate........to whatever weight you wanted to be!

If you want one, better order now...

Word of the planes arriving at OMP leaked out, and orders are being processed.

Ya snooze, Ya looze!!!

My Edge was on my doorstep when I got home Friday. Wow ... great service. Can't wait to get started. The ARF looks great.
