Hi,

How do I handle items that have been in contact with the fuel? I have a large duffel bag that has baggies full of rc parts. Most of time I end up spilling some fuel in there and that is why everything is in baggies. When this happens I take out the parts and leave the duffel bag out to dry then I put the baggies full of parts back in the duffel bag then into a closet. I am now wondering if that is bad. Not so much for fear of fire but breathing it or whatever. the closet does not reek of nitro but if I stick my head in the bag or stick my nose up to the one of the baggies I can smell nitro.

I used to wash my duffel bags in the washing machine. Should be okay. I've washed soaked rags when they were dirty from wiping down planes.
