I know racing teams get business deals to use your batteries, GM or some other manufacturer gets a business deal, I'm hearing something absurd about buying an electric car and leasing the battery system.... anyway.

Will you or a supplier be offering the automotive cells to the public? It would be nice to have this place in larger, non-rc applications. Maybe even use them as a charger power source for charging R/C batteries. :) Everyone can think of an application, it's a battery.

Good question.
I fly largescale and use A-123s but I need either more Mah or lighter batteries to give me more flight time without too heavy wingloading

I would probably build a 2 door electric car if the price for 30kw of a123 batteries was under 10 grand... i'm assuming that amount of power would be around $30k right now, from the quotes i've
had from other "safe" lithium cell manufacturers...

I ran some numbers and I would need about 32kwh for a PU conversion.
About 4400 A123 cells, at $8/cell (ebay) that's about $36k - OUCH!

Still...

I would kill for a 4A A123 cell, even if it was D cell size, right now I use 2P configuration for good fly times.
What would the capacity of a D size A123 cell be??
