rmenke -> COUPLE OF DUMB QUESTIONS FOR BOB (8/5/2007 7:04:26 PM)

BOB:

Does Dub still make a front needle carb for say 60LX, as apposed to the current remote needle aproach?

Old man eyesight is forcing me to reconsider racing the real fast stuff, say over 140 mph from gthe standpoint of safety to bystanders. Fine when flying and racing below that, othersise, hide. Have 90L that is gathering dust, and changing the fleet somewhat to continue enjoying our sport. Would like to stick the 90L in a 3D'r. Would that type of use create a problem for the engine? If not, what prop recommended, ball park. Thank you again for being there!! ENJOY

Most of the R/C carbs are designed for remonte needle only. Too many lawyers involved.

The front needle setups are limited to the venturi applications like the QM40, CL and FF engines.

But...... ya can always email and ask if he has an old one somewhere.

Bob
