Here are a couple of shots of my BN Defender, a stretched version of their Islander. Although this one is electric-powered, a pair of .25 -.32 glow engines would work just fine. First four flights over the weekend went very well. Flap equipped, easy build.
SPECS:
Span: 70" Area: 610 sq.in. 4 channel, 5 with flaps Weight(RTF) 7lb. 12oz. (glow version would be lighter)

If it flies like your Bronco it will be nice.

Excellent choice Rich!

I built a 100" and replicated the Marutanian Air Force's Defender about ten years ago. Are you burning holes in balsa?

Hi Rich , I just finished reading your build article in the July RCM. "I GOTTA HAVE ONE !" I did not see anything on your or the HOBBY HANGAR sites. I was hoping to get my order in before the rush. I have a pair of MVVS .26'S w/ oppossed exhausts that will fit the Defender perfectly. Please let us know the prices and maybe a link to Hobby Hangar so we can get going! Thanks ,Jeff
