If it is like the Hobao Hyper 8 and 8.5 buggy it is about 80% or more put together which is one of the things I do no like as you gave to go over it and make sure every thing is put together properly and all the diff fluids are what you want to run and so on.

Yeah takes only a few hours to get race ready, always do the diffs myself, don't trust factory oil.

The RTR was tested a few months back, did very good. The pro was tested and is in the newest issue of RCD. Also did very well, after reading that my mind is made up. The design is so clean and so durable - looking - don't know for sure. Any chance of a PBS version soon? or conversion?

Pillow/pivot ball suspension. As opposed to c-hub. Certain adjustments are easier on PBS setups, but C-hub is considered slightly more reliable and durable. Of the top marques, it's worth noting that Mugen uses PBS and Xray uses c-hub. There's no real advantage to either, it's a personal preference thing.

More then likely it comes with some sort of shock oil but most do like I do and get good oil that we know what weight it is.

I know the Losi makes a good buggy and truggy but I get tried of all the hype so this is really great to see!
2007 Offroad Meeting in Italy / PRO Truggy
Hyper ST - Joe Quagraine / 1st
Losi - A.Drake / 3rd

I just wish the Hyper both buggy and truggy got more pro support in the US.

well im ordering a st pro on monday sooo it should be here by friday this will be my truck that i use at the last rc pro seiries in omaha neb. in sept. so i HOPE i made a good choice i have a new vspec for it and a new jp3 pipe this should be a godd engine combo just need to order some wheels/tires for it. i mainly bought this truck just cause there is nobody runnin thease around here and i like being different so when i get it i will let you guys know how it drives. my biggest concern with hoabo is how long will this truck last befor it is shanked out my last hyper8 was shanked out at about 3 gallons i liked the way it drove but to me it didnt seem to last very long. so mabey hoabo has upgraded their parts from what ive read on other forums they have steped up quality. i also bought it cause i think the body is just killer!

That is strange as my Hyper 8 Pro has WELL over 8 gallons on it and the only thing I have replaced as far as wore out is the rear up rights once and some bearing from dirt!!!!!!!!!!!! They have changed the rear up rights. I have had VERY few parts break! Now I am very meticulous in maintaining my stuff weather RC or 1 to 1! I race with a few others that do not maintain there stuff very well and there Hyper 8 are still going strong but they do DNF much more often do to the poor maintenance.

Can anyone (Zonk?) if its a kit or a 80% roller like the buggy?
(I want it to be a kit). Heard the European version is a kit where as the US Ofna version is a roller.

Not a real issue but building them yourself is so much more educational.

The problem with a 80% built roller is you have to take it apart to check it out and make sure everything has loctite on it which takes longer then just building it your self to being with.
