Yes you can use the Futaba Gyro with your JR transmitter, no problem. The only items that are brand specific is the receiver and transmitter unless you use a dual shift receiver which will work with either. Servos are generic and will work with any radio system also.

thanks for the info, may prove useful when I do consider purchasing an ARF heli

becasue the kinetic does not have 120 Degree CCPM, you can not autogyro to the ground??
In the sim, it stops spinning and just drops out of the sky!!
Outher can be disengages and then free fall (autogyro) to the ground and control the decent with the throttle (even though the clutch isn't engaged@
Or do I have this completely wrong??

Yep ... completely wrong ...

Swash plate config has nothing to do with autoROTATION capability.

It's called autoROTATION not autogyro ...

What gives the heli the ability to autorotate is the one-way bearing that the main shaft is in ... oft called the auto-hub. It allows the rotor system (shaft and rotor head) to spin freely if it stops being "driven" (engine at idle/clutch disengaged).

So ... in the sim ... the kinetic model may not be "written" correctly or you are not performing the "auto" correctly. If you are successfully "auto'ing" with other sim models ... I'd say there is a glitch in the sim model.

" ... control the decent with the throttle (even though the clutch isn't engaged ... "
The "throttle" stick POSITION is the origin of two functions ... Throttle curve and Pitch curve. When in throttle hold, the throttle function moves the servo position to a setting at or near idle (essentially a flat throttle curve for all stick positions). Even though you call it a "throttle" stick ... remember the primary purpose of this stick (at least in real helis) is COLLECTIVE pitch. This "throttle" stick position is still controlling the pitch of the heli via the Throttle Hold pitch curve.

If you think of the "throttle" stick as controlling throttle only... you'll get confused. If you think of it as a multi-purpose stick (throttle AND pitch) ... it get's a little clearer.

If the rotor just "stops" in the sim ... I'd say that you are holding positive pitch or the sim model is incorrect.

there is a switch to disengage the engine. You are then able to float to the ground just on the momentum of the prop and using the throttle to control decent, (not under power have you though)
The Kinetic will not do this....

and the momentium of the blades spinning in the air as well, forgot about this post a long time ago, congrats to whoever found it
