A friend has a new Bobcat powered with a K&B Sportster....flies great with plenty umph, but rotates on takeoff like a dump truck.

Here's what I'm thinking: Never seen a pusher arrangement that did'nt have at least 3 degrees of down thrust so I'm wondering if a few degrees of down thrust wouldn't help get the nose in the air a little more smoothly????? Failling that, perhaps a little longer nose strut to increase the wing incidence.

Any opinions?????

I think that raising the nose to aleast the airplane level attitude would do it.
