but if you have ever driven a nitro car, the noises do excite you a little, no matter how fast the car is.

you won't need 50. Then your motor might just spin at about 2.5 rpm on full throttle.

you don't need 50 capacitors.

i thought you said that u would rather get nitro?

and the only reason i bought fifty capacitors is cuz they are like $4.50 for the set.

Im using a Turnigy 50-55B 600kv Outrunner, Direct drive. i got it from Unitedhobbies.com

Why would you start off with a mugen???? they are helluh expensive

WHOAH BUDDY!!!!!

First, i never said i like nitro better.

Second, you got a great deal on your capacitors. Now you can make a tazer.

Third, it's an OFNA, not a MUGEN

Also, i don't care what motor your using, i can find those. I want to know how you are going to mount it into the car.

brushlessboy....if that is going to be your motor mount, it looks great but making it out of anything but steel or aluminum wont work for long. trust me it isnt worth doing plus it wont dissapate heat like a metal one will.

agreed... you'll be chewing up your pinions and center diff in no time flat with a delrin mount. You want zero flex in your mount and delrin just won't cut it.

sorry man, not trying to bash on you, but what part of direct drive didn't you understand?

A very large outrunner is mounted right where the center diff is.

B-boy, you might want to consider supporting the other side of the motor as well. You can do it by simply having a bearing around the shaft, and the bearing mounted into a block of *something* mounted where the other bulkhead goes.
