I just got an offer from a buddy of mine for 5 HS-55's for 60$, hes about to sell all of his RC stuff because of a divorce (ugh) but I can't help but want to take advantage of it, lol.

I will probably buy them regardless, but does anyone know if these will bolt onto the HBKII? I don't have any 55 sized servo's sitting around or I would just measure it myself. Ordinarily, this would be a rhetorical question, because I could look in my toolbox, but I'm not at home and I was curious.

Thanks guys,

BZ

Should work, but unsure myself on this. Hopefully someone can chime in one this one. It seems the stock servos maybe a bit tasked with upgraded motor.

they are the same size, but they may spin in the reverse direction =)

Hopefully that helps. If you need more info on how to reverse the direction, lemme know

Ugh, is that the thing where you take the case apart and change the wires? I don't trust my soldering that much =/.

lol, yeah that's one way. There are a few other ways too.

You can also buy a servo direction reverser for about $10 bucks. You'll only need one for the front channel, then you will need to swap the two rear aleron channels and use the reverse servo function on the tx =)

I dunno about the HBK, but on the bcpp I am currently doing this mod, and I just flipped the blade grips over =) I'll hopefully be doing a write up soon. It should be fairly simular for the hbk as for the bcpp

Hey out of curiosity, how do the Esky 8g servos compare tp the Falcon 3d stock servos?

hesntly no idea on that one. I havne't heard much good about the electronics in either of those heli's, so it would probably just be the lesser of two evils.

no prob, and you're welcome. Good luck getting it figured

HS-55 servos come in 2 ways. CW & CCW rotation. I would say get 2 of each and use the one not needed as the tail servo since you can reverse it on the TX or mount it the other way.

what's the distiction of how they rotate? a part number or something? I've actually never heard of this. All I've seen is the standard servo connector and the hs55j which has the futaba connector on it
