If you don't mind me asking, how did Steven contact you? I've sent him several emails with no reply.

Larry,
That's pretty harsh... You won't even sell parts to someone who didn't buy from you? So much for public relations. I don't think I'll be buying from someone with that type of attitude. I wish you the best with your engines. Remember, being a "nice guy" on rcu has its benefits.

I was thinking a 50cc twin would be neat, but I'll stick with DL. At least Bob at DLUSA.net has repeatedly helped me out, even though I didn't buy from him. He has earned my loyalty through his kindness.

This forum was started to review this engine. I have never claimed that it was anything other than what it was. Honestly, if I had it do over, I would have waited for the DA-85.

Parts are not easy to come by from China when you need them in a hurry, so I think it is in my best interest to keep the parts on hand should MY customers crash and need them in a hurry. That is the difference between dealing with someone out of the country to save a few bucks and dealing with a person that has parts available for you when you need them. My loyalty lies with the people that buy from ME. Not one of my customers have been down for any lenghth of time for lack of parts.

Really it's a catch 22... I see both sides really.

having the 50 twin would be neat - however you run into the exact same position as this thread has shown. Why put a heavier engine on just to have a twin when the performance is far lacking a single? The 50 twin is doing a wopping 6400 on a Xoar 22x8... most quality 50s are doing that same prop at 6800-7300. 400+ rs on a 22" prop is a big deal.

If you look at the ZDZ 80, 3W 85 or the DA 85 its pretty hard to look elsewhere for the price and performance unless you move up to a DA 100.

my 2 cents.

my engine arrived today from sylvian. it looks very nice and was very well packaged. it only took 5 day's to come from hong kong. i also have spoken to him about parts support and he said it would be about the same time for them to arrive if they are needed. that's as good or better than what you get from the big name engines here in the states. i hope to get it mounted up on the break-in stand and i will report my findings asap.

well i finally have the engine mounted up and ready to crank, guess what? it won't start. choke it and it fires, then take the choke off and flip it. it will stutter a few times and nothing. choke again, same thing. i have taken the walbro apart and checked for trash in it but i didn't see anything. it's like it pulls gas when it's choked and when you take the choke off it quits pulling gas. any idea's? the manual say's 2 1/2 turns out on the low end and 1 turn out on the high. i noticed that the plate where the pulse line goes to on the carb has two small holes in it. how can it pull a vaccum on the pump if it is loosing suction through these holes. HELP ME PAT!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the help guys, I mean seriously, if you don't have anything constructive to say, then just keep quiet.

I will again state that this forum is for the HH100T engine not anything to do with LS Pro.

Steve,

I would let mine fire about three times before I removed the choke, also I found that it liked to start at about 1/3 throttle. So you might want to try that. Can you post a photo of your setup and maybe we can go from there.

Hope that helps.
