Today, I have been robbed for the 4th time and I can not take it any more. I have lived in the Las Vegas valley area for 30 years and I have had my house broken into 3 times and today my trailer was broken into and I lost nearly everything ( see: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_6230235/tm.htm ).

Now I have to go....I can not stay here anylonger. If I do, I see jail time in my future...

SO, this is where you come in! Tell me where to move and why! I would love to here what you guys think! SO, where is the next great place to live????

TIA,

Dave!

Honestly.. I'm told Austin, TX is VERY nice. If I was to leave San Diego, it'd probably be to move there.

Whidbey Island in Washington state. I've been up there twice for Jets Over Whidbey. The place is soo peaceful with large parks everywhere and kind people. They have an awesome True Value up there too. That would be the place I would retire to.

Sorry for your lose. The people who robbed you will get theirs one day.

Great Weather all year round - A bad day is cold and windy.
Lots of open space

QATAR in the middle east - crime free!

Seriously though, I do feel for you - I left my home country, South Africa, because of the crime rate there. At least in the USA you can still move away from the crime and still be at home.

I say San Diego, keep all you foreigners out of Austin Texas, we have a great thing going here!

Seriously, this is the best place to live in the country, and I've visited most everywhere in my job travels.

Anywhere but Central Florida. We have so many people moving in that we now face not having enough water or electricity to serve those that are already here. To that add that the other infrastructure was not put in place prior to allowing the developers to run wild. The roads are in terrible condition, and are way over-crowded, the hospitals are having to expand, and the newcomers are trying to take over. I guess that no one ever explained that I-75 and I-95 goes both North as well as South. The weather is great though, and the number of R/C clubs and flying fields are unbelievable. Just another day in paradise.
