I decided not to go with a 21, I stayed with the 28's but I traded down for an OS 28XZ with the T-2060 pipe.

When the cop pulls you over doing 160 mph, and asks if you knew how fast you were going say, "yep i had cruise control on".

Here are some pics of my build I am doing. So far its been confusing . They give you a couple different pieces of the same parts on alot of stuff that change suspension setting and stuff like the hingepin holders and where the front knuckle bolt to that you do not know which ones to use. I have been looking at the team driver set up sheets and trying to go buy that to get a good baseline.

I do have a question though. What's up with the second set front UPPER arms? They are shorter and do not look the same.

I think you'll find the other front arms are for the ST series trucks, they seem to be on a parts frame that is universal for both ST and ST-R trucks. Maybe they are similar to your monsoon.

I was just thinking that. I will take a look probably tomorrow and see if they are interchangeable. Wonder why they come with the st-rr though since they are so much smaller in length than the st-rr's. I also got the upper rear arms too then for the ST included too. Just bolted up my axial .28rr. Almost ready!! Ran my hyper st pro and monsoon at the track today and my friends asked my where my st-rr was and I said I would spare them this weekend!!

Looking great Vnmsgt, Keep us updated.
I only have 3 diffs started on the whole build lol, not even finished diffs, started lol.
waiting on a few major shipments before I can begin really getting down in the build.
will post pics when theres something worth snapping.

TB

BTW ProRC more dirt acumulates in the front of your motor and you don't want dirt to get into a ceramic bearing. rubber sealed or not dirt will get in eventually.

regardless, I change my motor bearings every gallon, and the rest are usually changed at the end of every race season.

What parts are you waiting for to continue your build? Besides motor and servos what could you upgrade on the thing? Finally got my motor in and body painted. Have not cut it out yet or put stickers but cannot wait.

What do you guys think with the paint on have on it if I dyed my rims black or blue instead of keeping them white? I think I can dye the grey to match the wing if I use the black dye and not soak them too long.

Nice paint bro, I think either color (black or blue) would go very nice. being that the tires would be the black seperator in the color scheme blue would fit in nicely, but you can never go wrong with black it matches everything. I cant wait for a jconcepts body for my new truggy I will probably paint that one myself. check your pm.

I think the first thing you should get is new seals, like these click here and probably some of these click here. Then get some new fresh diff oil (see previous pages of this thread for recommended oil weights), and fill 3/4 up the case (so the gears are covered). If you dont have a manual, I recommend getting one (you can try ebay - dollar hobbyz), it will explain the procedure for you. Oh yeah, give the diff casings a good clean and dry, so the new oil does not get contaminated. Good luck and take your time, if you need more help, let us know here and we will help. Cheers and Merry Christmas

check ebay because they have whole diff sets for cheap you could get instead of getting peice by peice.

Waiting for hingpins and tony's screws and wheel hubs mainly, the other stuff I can wait for and will most likely p/u in my lhs is servos, diff oils, shock oils, fail safe, and hump pack.
