What does 700, 800, 850 oils compare to against regular oils like 30wt, 60wt etc. I am not used to what numbers you guys use. I have 30wt in all 4 of my shocks right now.

The team drivers on the grid are running 700 - 750 oils with the blue springs (kyosho oils).

700 = about 47.5 wt in losi oils and 50 wt in associated oils
750 = about 50 wt in losi oils and 55 wt in associated oils
800 = about 52 wt in losi oils and 57.5 wt in associated oils
850 = about 55 wt in losi oils and 60 wt in associated oils

Anyone know if the spider diff cups in the ST-r/RR are the same as the savage spider diff cups? I own an savage, and have worked on both diffs. and I can recall them almost being exactly the same but I'm not sure. and I don't wanna rip my diffs outta my savage to look. But I would like to replace the plastic diff cups on my RR with Alumis, and they don't make alumi's specifically for the RR.

Let me know.

if there the same, it doesn't matter if there savage or hellfire alumi diff cups.
I actually have a bran new set of savage bevels, but only front and rear since the savage has its own center tranny.

I'm gonna have to rip down one of my savage basher bulkheads to check the cups next to each other. should be easy I have two savages.

hehe In that thread it plainly states to buy a savage aluminum diff cup
Anyway I found a store on ebay that has a direct Kyosho replacement cup that is aluminum.
No changing bevels or pinions.
Besides I already have the upgraded chromoly bevels and pinions.

Diff mixing chart. Say you want 750 and all you have is 800 and 700, punch those in and it tells you how much of each makes 750. This works with shock and diff oils. Hope the link works, you might also want to book mark it or save it into a folder/favs.

Ok so if I have 2000, 3000, 7000, 10000, and 20000, and want to make 18000 and 22000, what would I put in Field A and B?
cause it won't let me put in those figures.

A= 10000 B=20000 target =18000 then hit calulate
for 22000 youll need heavier fluids than whats listed, like a 30000, so
A=30000 B=10000 target fluid would be your 22000
Hope that explains it a bit better.

thanks for the link, although i dont think i will have to be changing fluids and stuff much.

Have a question. Which shocks are better, the LST2 shocks or the kyosho bigbore shocks? If the LST2 shocks are better would they fit on the st-r?

Drove my ST-RR for a full day today at a local track that had a little get together and this was the 3rd time I drove it so I am getting used to it more every time out. All I can say is WOW !!! Today is the fastest I have ever been with any truggy I have driven! I just cannot believe how fast you can be with a truck that is so loose to drive compared to other truggies that feel like they are stuck like glue to the track. I LOVE IT Steering is unbelievable and the brakes...... Best I have ever seen and do not fade no matter what you do and the whole truck is smooth as butter. To anyone thinking of getting one of these and think they are overpriced... THEY ARE WORTH EVERY PENNY AND MORE. They are not like anything else you have ever driven and I have a Hyper ST Pro which is awesome too but completely different to drive and have driven 8ight-t's and they are awesome too but both are completely different to drive. Hard to explain but if you get a chance to drive one you will understand The RR is its own beast and none other like it.
