Heres some pics.

the pipe deflector probably wont get used because i lost like 4 of them in the past. But it does look kinda cool on the truck.

the only time Pklot or anyone will see this end of the truck is when i shut off that beast of a .28 LOL

i didnt hook up the temp sensor yet after changing the engine mount, but of coarse I will when i drive it tomorrow.

Extended KH mount, i wonder why KH's blues seem to be all different. Next time i will buy the KH parts in blk like i started to in the first place.

The body wasnt suppose to look near as it does but the paintjob was free and the guy at the LHS ordered another body for me to give it another try, if his hardware dont mess up again. Its not too bad though and a few more stickers on the sides and other places will really make it look good.

Its ok you can re-create my truggy

Thats what my son has on his sp2, along with the cnc knuckles and rear hubs. I just about yanked them off his buggy and placed them on my truggy. Then I thought hes going to need all the extra support as this is his first year running the buggy.

Body look good Pro, yours too TB.

Pklot, i may not have enough through it because I still have to settle this problem with the engine running high temps. Im going to change from a medium plug i been using to a cold one, get some o donnell 20%, check this carb for leaks(got a spare carb case too if i need it). Might be spectating again tomorrow.

Im not made out of money like you are TB, lol. But I wont bee needing that many KH parts,

I just won some kyosho cnc knuckles off ebay for $58 Nascar, so I will have those on my truck as well. That k factory mount is expensive as far as what the KH ez change motor mount can do for $5 more, but it did its job well for the short time i got to use it. But i had the KH mount in mind from the start. Im goin to get the cnc rear hubs later too, i think they should have been stock on the truck. Thanks on the body.

Yesterday me, pklot, and 2 other guys went to a BMX track. I said earlier in this thread that i was having high temp problems with the RB. So i decided before I change anything i would use a different temp gun, turns out my temp sensor is off by 40F and the truck was running between 160 and 200F. Very glad to see that was the case so i will need to recalibrate my temp feature on the control.

We had to wait for about a half hour for the BMX guys to finish but after then we really got to run. We basically practiced the jumps yesterday. I got mines warmed up and jumped a few times, at first i was messing up but shortly after, i became a pro with it. The st-rr flys so nice and level in the air and will land on all 4s everytime. You dont have to be a Pro driver to clear jumps with this thing. My highlights of yesterday was when i went off the middle of the bowl where one of the turns is. I went about half throttle off the top and got the truck at least 10ft off the ground and flew 20ft before landing perfectly on all 4s. The other was when i got on the track and cleared those big triples, which isnt as easy as i it looked to be. My drive time ended after about 4-6 tanks when the rx battery went dead. The last time i charged it was at least 30 days ago, so it held a charge more than long enough for me to get about 16 tanks through the RB in all. I run the Balistics 5 cell pack, those rx packs last for ever on a charge, id recommend it to anyone. Even though i had a few bad landings, the only damage done was a few missing screws that hold the top part of the wing mount together. The engines power is another thing, i ran it using no more than half throttle and they way it was running you would think I was WOT, it its not even half way in tune as it could be. Im waiting on seeing what it will do once i get a full gal. through it.

Pklot''s st-rr with his modded OS28 was very impressive to me. That thing will be a handful and then some to try and control on a track.

We took ours out to the bmx track too, got video of the buggys running by not my truggy. Set ups key, and if the truggy is dialed it will perform for sure.
Im running lipo packs in both the contoller and truggy, all day without issues and then some. Just watch the discharge and charge rates. Ive seen bad things happen when lipos go wrong.
Our local track has a test and tune this saturday, hope to get video of my truggy then.

yeah proRCRacer88 we had a ball sunday. Man you had hat truck atleast 30ft in he air and you flew about 50 ft. Remember you almost landed in the tree. LOL I must admitt you did catch on fast with the jumps. Like you sid the st-rr flies like nothing I have ever flown befor and the handeling is byfar the best in the industry. I love this truck. This was my first kit and I will never by another RTR again. unless there''s a better truck than my revo but from now on it''s kits for me. Sorry I forgot the camera that big jump you took would have been real nice to post on here. I will try to remember next time. this weekend I am off so we will hit the track so get ready. now we have to dial them in for racing

I can tell just by holding the cnc knuckles and the stock knuckles that these are far more better.

Im going to concentrate more on stocking up on parts, after i get all the KH and other upgrades that i want.

Nascar i heard of a few stories of cars catching on fire because of Lipo batteries. Im still not sure what makes them way better than the other rx batteries.

Yea Pklot we defintaly going out there with the trucks again this weekend

Yeah, lipo packs make a great light show when the go wrong. You tube search and youll find many of them. Thats the only draw back to lipo packs, and that user error that causes those issues. The plus side, youll always have 6v 5amp to the servos were as nimh packs start out strong and fade throught the run. Lipos last hours without recharge, nimh needs repeak or cycle charged more often.
I can run 4 rounds of qualifying, a 30 min main and still have time to play around without power lose. Always check condition of lipo packs, never go below 3 volts and they are good to go.
Its a risk running lipos, but if care is taken they are well worth the money and gives a person more time to do other stuff without the worry of charging hump packs.

I have a quick charger so when my rx pack goes dead i can charge it in 25-45 mins depending on wat rx pack it is. I never had a situation where i would have to consider upgrading to lipo packs, and they are expensive knowing that one wrong move can have your car or something else on fire. But i like the idea that they give full power until they are dead.
