Does it need any of the stock mount parts to work?

Thanks

it goes in place of that silver mess and then you can use those blue mounts the engine bolts directly to.

Now that makes sense! I really wanted a one piece unit... They should not call it one piece when it need two other parts to work? Would a Mugen one piece unit work? I found a nice well priced one on ebay that is truly a one piece unit. Take a look!

Thanks

I doubt it will fit and i wouldnt mess with the china knock off bs. Yoo could get the kingheadz mount in regular or extended(if you get this one you have to drill an extra hole). Either one you get, you will be able to pull your engine off from the top mounts very quickly and wont mess up your mess or you won t have to stick a hex driver in at an angle trying to take the engine off the mounts.

No problem Dan.

I want to go up on the clutch bell, right now i run a 14t, should i go to 15t or jump to 16t? Want to get rid of some of this bottom end power and also wouldnt mind going faster. Right now id say the truck does anywhere between 40-50mph.

Hey Pro, drop the spur to a 48, that will jump the speed up and take away some of the low end power. I havent yet tried it on mine, its installed, just waiting for mother nature to stop dumping 5 inches of rain a day on us. Global warming my brass.
52x13=17.20:1 50x13=16.54:1 48x13=15.88:1 46x13=15.22:1
52x14=15.97:1 50x14=15.36:1 48x14=14.74:1 46x14=14.13:1
If you change up the spur bell use shims under the center diff. I wouldnt get to crazy with ratio, 48 spur would be the smallest I would try, the truggy wheels are bigger than buggy and if you take to much power away, low end will suffer.

There's nothing like the look of a new setup! Nice mount, that's what I'm going to order ( if Amain will accept my return that is).

Nice!!

definatly let us know how the GRP runs. I been wondering how it runs since its $300+.

Got the rear end back together and the diff feel notchy, but from what i read thats normal isnt it? Think that since i got a new diff case it sits tighter in the housing. Was going to run the truck but the car battery is dead, and i need a new glow ignitor.

A bit off topic but i won a kyosho 777 WC the other day so it will be here next week. I will race that also and then upgrade before long since they are coming out with the MP9.

the GRP 21 is the best motor I have ran yet (including RB, Nova 21-5kt, Nova P5x, vspec, Ninja. and my fav until the GRP, the Max Power M5). 10 minute plus runtimes, 200 degree temps (tops), great power, and a never ending top end....

Yes, you want it notchy if you just rebuilt it..they should wear in for ya

It’s the the GRP .28. So far I think it’s an incredible mil. The power is not overwhelming at all. It comes on smooth a pulls consistently through the entire range. It’s the coolest running engine
