So why are all 4 springs from the kit (light green) all the same length? The front bodies are definately shorter, so I thought the kit front springs would be shorter.

Awesome body BTW

because the green ones were the OEM parts and they came out with the medium length blues after that, but before those, a lot of people just ran the long blues all the way around

Ok cheers, so the blue front will be ok when they get here. Was concerned that amain had listed buggy springs in the ST-RR parts section. Thanks mate

Ok here's another one, how short do you cut the boots on the shocks. I cut mine on my ST-R shocks level with the top of the bottom shock mount, do you leave some so it goes over the mount or not?

Not sure if that makes sense, so if someone has photo's of their shocks with boots mounted, I'll be able to see how you have them

Cheers

Anyone know if OS glow plugs would work in the new RB L2G engines? I'm breaking in my new RB C6 and it needs a hotter plug and all I have are OS's. ANy feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks!!

Yes you can use the OS P6 plugs. Do not keep changing plugs ie. different brands because your turbo head will be damaged.

I tried cutting mine at first and did not like it...now I run the shock boots full length (front and rear)

I don't cut them on the ST-RR. But here is a hint for everyone. On the bottom plastic spring retainer, cut the corner edge off. Just 45 it or file it down. This will keep it from tearing the boot!

Sorry guys just getting this straight in my head, so you put the plastic spring retainer over the boot on the shaft?

Yes you put the end of the boot over the shock end and the spring retainer holds it there.

Here's some photo's of my ST-RR Conversion build so far. My ACE1015 steering servo came in today, so will do a bit more tomorrow.
