hi guys, i was out this weekend running my bike(nitro ducati) and a few trucks. with a buddy and his truck. so anyway after a few tanks my buddy asked to try it(i guess you know where this is going). after a few slow speed laps around the parking lot, he thought he had it. not, he ended up slamming into a curb.all that was broken were the steering servo horn and the front rim, not to bad. i ordered new ones from 2 wheel hobbies, anyway since this is my first bike tire, and aluminum rim. i was wondering what process and product you guys use to glue on your tires. i bought a rim and tire so both will be new. thanks for you help

rough up the alloy a bit with some sand paper where the tire make contact then you can use normal CA and keep an eye on it or the best stuff is loctite 480 which is proper rubber to metal CA

I use shoe goo, put a small bead on the rim put on you tire, apply another small bead around both sides of tire, use a wet rag, I spit on my finger and wipe around the beads on the sides of the tire so it looks clean, let dry overnight. This is how I do my tires, they dont come off. And to remove the tire when it worn out just let it soak in hot water, tire will come of fairly easy, slap on a new tire.
