The Texas heat is here again. 100 Degrees average and in the field charging is getting silly hot. So I modded my charger for better cooling. Just a new top plate, with some holes drilled, one 12 volt fan connected at the 12V input and my charger just stays warm now, instead of blistering hot. The fan blows the hot air out. The holes are right above the heatsink and fets. BTW, I forgot to mention that my charge light says solid untill the last 2 or so minutes when it starts to balance the batteries. Before it would blink alot earlier and take longer to charge. Kinda like it went in overheat mode and started "trickle" charging the batteries.
