I will have pictures of it next week . Before I posted it on EBay I sent the motor back to Traxxas to get a new one . I didnt want one fan blade to effect my rating and Traxxas was willing to replace it . I will let everyone know that it is posted . My collection of trucks is big enough that I dont need to keep the emaxx . It already has an RPM front bumper .

No I didnt mail the motor until tuesday so I hope it will be a back next week to post . I will be sure to let you know . Do you want to be notified here or at a different email adress . I am also unsure of how to load the pictures . I wanted to send pictures of My Savage . The carrier is completely torn from the truck . I was an eletric guy , that is why I bought the emaxx until I bashed with my brothers savage . One look at the difference and I went the next day and bought the Savage . I have only driven the Emaxx once since then. As I said I have a stampede and use that around the house so the emaxx will be on the block . Do you have paypal ?If you are truly interested once you see the pictures we can make the sale quick .

Ok...i think that the Stampede will be better. You think that the E-Maxx can out jump? Ohh...look see here. Go to the Traxxas catologue and go to the back page. It says that the Stampede is 68.2 oz and the E-Maxx is 155.2oz. Let me hear your comback?

P.S. My cousin has one and it is GREAT!

First of all, quit calling people "retarded". Chances are he isn't retarded and if he actully was, you would pobably feel bad that you said it.
I only have the Stampede, so I will make my comments about that. I changed the stock motor to a Magnetic Mayhem and a 16 T pinion gear and it has a lot more torque and speed than stock, all for $20. It can plow through grass, which it couldn't on the stock motor. I use 6 cell 3000mah packs and it runs for a good long time. For bashing around the driveway and street or front lawn, I can't see needing 4WD. Being half the weight of an eMaxx is a plus too: more nimble, less stress on parts, less force on a hard hit, less energy used. Also for half the price, what's not to like?
I may want to get an eMaxx one day as well, but I wouldn't want to not have my Stampede.

MIKE

I have an E-Maxx and I love it. I also have a Rustler (down for the count right now) and it has been a good truck. My son has a Stampede and I have to say it IS a blast to drive on the right terrain. The best answer to your question was found in our bashing session this weekend. We took the trucks to an old rock quarry and played for about an hour. On the flats there isn't enough difference to talk about. The E-Maxx is faster because of the second gear and the fact that I was running 3300's. But, when you get into rough terrain, the Maxx will power through most anything that isn't steep enough to flip it over while the Pede loses traction due to lack of torque and weight. 50 degree bankwas no problem for the Maxx to climb while the Pede would go part way up and start spinning. The Stampede is a great truck but the lack of four wheel drive kills it in places like these and in really deep grass. If you have the money, I would highly recommend the E-Maxx (and a dual peak charger). For both the Maxx and Pede, I would order a new steering servo when I got the truck. The Maxx steering servo (2055) works well for the Pede. I have an airtronics 94359z (200 oz/in) in the Maxx and it does a great job with a new servo saver (kimbrough 121). I hope this helps and I'm sure that you will enjoy whatever you get.

Well, i have both the E-Maxx and the stampede, and i like them both .I would say that it all depends on your budget. If you can afford the E-Maxx then i would definitley say ,yes, get the E-maxx. You Can make the whole thing solid aluminum (not that you couldn't make the Stampede solid Aluminium but it would be a whole lot easier to make the E-maxx aluminium since aluminium parts are so easy to find for maxx trucks). Yes, E-Maxxes are quite durable but so are Stampedes, the one problem with the Stampede like the one person mentioned,is the servo, they are not good quality. I don't know from experence because I was fortunate enough to have the Stampede given to me and when i got it it had an OLD Traxxas servo in it but that worked ok until i shorted it out. The servo isn't a big deal though.I did ruin one EVX because i was dumb and ran it in the snow because when i got the E-Maxx I was all impatient and drove it in the snow (I didn't do a very good job waterproofing it I guess).Traxxas is repairing it for $45 (that isn't easy on a 13 year olds wallet) but is better than buying a new one. Well, thats about it in my opinion the E-Maxx is the way to go.DON'T BUY A DURATRAX!!!!!!!!
