I just got into cars and was wondering if my next machine should be the jato or the baja 5b. Let me know people!

well those two particular models arent really comparable the hpi is a 1/5th scale gasser while the jato is a 1/10th scale nitro...so if you want to sacrifice performance for reliability and size then get the baja just do some more research and see what you want its alot of personal preference

Yeah those are 2 totally different cars, I have the Baja 5B and love it, and I have a Jato 3.3 in the mail somewhere coming my way.

Well 1/5 scale is less of a hassle and if you have no problem spending that kind of money get the baja. Also the upgrades are real expensive also.

If you have the money and the room I would go for the baja 5b. Personally I would buy something different (just me).

ive driven both and as far as awesomeness goes the 5b i love how powerfull it is and how easy to maintain it is the jato is a demon of speed but it is a pinta to tune and i see a lot of ppl that break them before there even broke in

I don't have either but if I had to chose between the two, definetly go with HPI. Not a fan of Traxxas, but THAT is my $.02...
