Mike, on the Hybrid, the plans I have show no right thrust on the engine.
I always build my profile planes with 1-1/2 to 2 degrees on the firewall.
What is your recommendation? Should I engineer this into the firewall construction?

Or do you now advocate a throttle->rudder mix, and leaving the thrustline at zero?

I'm planning to do a MVVS/Evolution 58 on a canister for this build.
Is this still the king of the hill motor on this plane?

I noticed the specifications on the website now state up to 70cc.
Is there a specific recommendation at the 70cc displacement that won't kill me on weight?
I will build this airplane with a canister exhaust no matter what.

You can do either method but you do need right thrust. The firewall is straight so you have the option to use mixing or a physical offset of the engine. I used simple spacers under the left hand standoffs of my DA50 to get about 3 degrees right thrust. Obviously the engine is mounted slightly to the left side of the firewall so the prop comes out in the center.

I've heard good things about the mvvs 58 so I think you will be happy. The engine spec was raised as some customers have put larger single cylinder engines on the plane with no issues. We've even seen a 75cc engine on the Hybrid.
