Status: offline 		I,m concerned about wing strength. When the slow poke is built according to plans, there is a lack of sheeting and reinforcing tape on the out board wing panels where they join with the center section. Any experience good or bad could be helpfull.

Status: offline 		I've built a few. Don't worry about strength, there's enough! It tunrs out to be a lighty loaded wing. And, the covering adds a tremendous amount of strength to the wing. The joiner braces are quite strong.

Lighten up the rear as much as you can. This plane comes out to be quite tail heavy.

Status: offline 		The weak point is right behind the wing saddle where the plywood is glued to the sticks that form the main aft fuselage structure.
If you want to beef up anything in the wing beef up the landing gear block bracing.

Status: offline 		If the little one is like the 40 size buy lots of glue my 40 poke took at least twice as much as say a 4* kit ... there are LOTS of parts. Also consider extending the nose fof balance . I pushed mine out 1 inch & moved the servos &battery as far forward as I could It nearly balanced W/O any added wt..

Status: offline 		Hope I am in the right group to ask a question regards, to the slow poke sport 40 .I bought the kit and opening the box looked like fire kindling.I love this planes looks, and see it posted as a arf,however I believe its been discontinued can anyone let me know if it is still avail as an arf.I will probably make a mess out the kit form.

Status: offline 		You can still buy the parts on Tower Hobbies, last I checked. I may be wrong, but I think you could use the hardware from the kit. Buying each of the separate parts for the ARF may be a little expensive, but probably doable.
