THANKS GUYS for the great encouraging comments!!
MORE PHOTOS WILL BE POSTED ONLINE TONIGHT!!!
IT IS A LARGE AREA!! LOADS of "HILLS and Mountains" to hide behind and uneven terrain so it won't be easy to get a DIRECT 30 ft shot... you will be scooting and shooting as well as negotiating terrain... NO DIRT DRAG STRIPS HERE.. a lot of main roads and there will be bridges to take and more!!

OK more progress photos!
1st shot shows pile of debris has been finally removed leaving room for the final expansion to take shape and still have room to park our canopies, trucks etc...
2nd shot shows how much more soil was brought in ... and the rest are well..progress in laying out the dirt... and setting it up for sculpting the terrain by us....
NOTE the SIZE of the TRACTOR and HOW MUCH SPACE it has to manuever on the R/C BATTLE FIELD AREA!!! LARGE, WIDE area is going to be great to battle on.... LOTS of room for obstacles, varying terrain, strategic battles of epic proportion!!!

OK... time to do the heavy work... installing some bridges, hangar, and diggin the "river" as well as carving some more hills ... we had the tractor make several hills/mountains and roughen up that terrain... we then had to get rid of its tractor tire tracks and really start getting dirty!! THIS IS THE PART I LIKE MOST... making a box of dirt look really cool with landscape!!
THESE are the first photos of trees and structures going in.. so DO NOT WORRY.... LOADS MORE TREES and structures will be added and loads more detail will go in before this SUNDAYs BATTLEDAY!!!

OK... SUNDAY has come and gone... HERE are the photos of our TEXAS ARMOR ASSOCIATION R/C TANK CLUB BATTLEFIELD...
With the CLub Members at work we were able to finish planting all the trees in less than 1 hr on SUNDAY before Battling...
We have a Battle Field that we are very happy and proud to have... Right at 4000 sqft... it is plenty large to lose a tank, ambush, set up strategic wargames, and more... It is almost so large and wide that you MUST walk around it or you will lose perspective of your tank and its position on the many roads and hills... It is perfect to hide a tank out of line of sight and wait until your opponent is in firing range/zone to commence attacking...
ANYHOW.. HERE ARE SOME PHOTOS from SUNDAY!!
ENJOY...
More Battlefield improvements/upgrades to come: a) installation of the G SCALE TRAIN b) More Buildings c) Oil Refinery Area/INDUSTRY AREA d) More vegetation/Trees/Bushes e) REFINED/More scale tunnel f) More light Vehicles and personnel will be added g) Color application to hills/mountains to give more depth/texture
