Thanks whaturi,

A bit longer than I had hoped. Would you mind measuring the height of the fin from the top to the bottom of the fuselage?

Thanks very much.

20.5" is the rudder top to bottom. 24.5" is from the top of the rudder down to the tailwheel.

Seems like I have around 12 elevator up 13 down. 35-40 maybe on the rudder. Ailerons I am not sure. I changed things as I went so, it's hard to say exactly, maybe I'll check them exact later if you want me to.

i usually run about 10 on the elevator and 20-25 on the rudder and ailerons. I was intrested to see if those throws were working for this bird also.

Folks,

you should see this thing in person. Whaturi is an excellent pilot and I have seen him fly so much I do not even bother to really pay too much attention but with this plane he seems to be more connected to it than any other he has ever had. It looks like it's time for me to take up his offer of flying it and I know once I do that I'll be calling Tom for one as well.

In the first two videos he was running a Zoar 27x10 and had issues with downline braking, in the third video he switched out the prop to a Mezjlik 27x10 and you could easily see how much more pull it had and the downlines were quite a bit slower.

The plane even got quite a bit quieter. I'd say as quiet as any 3-blade you can bolt into this thing

$895. The first planes sold will include a free hardware kit. All planes will be shipped with the wings in wing bags.

Looks great Tom. How do you think it would perform on a DA 85 or 3W 85? Is there room for a full tuned pipe or just canisters?

Canisters only. I think an 85 will do very well. The new 85s are really impressive, and with the loss of weight performance is not far off the 100.
