Status: offline 		I purchased this plane maybe 5 years ago as a complete kit that was probably 20 years old. Life has transpired against me in getting it finished but I'm beginning to pull things together here so I can finish it. It has the Q42 engine with the reduction drive. I'm covering it with FM. I added aileron servos in the wing to replace the torque rods. I found an old 180 degree servo to drive the retract spool but also have the UP valve to operate the gear and doors.

It will ultimately look like this. . . . I hope!!!

Status: offline 		I got the P51 fever last year and got back into the hobby after being out for 25 years! I used airmiles and got my tix for 2 days for this airshow...never seen a P51 in person...I'm really excited about this airshow!!!

Have a H9 150 size P51 which now has 148 flights since last October, getting good training for the Ziroli P51 I'm currently building...doing the rivets now...hope to fly it a few times before the snow hits!!!

Is there an RCU meeting at all at the Gathering? I'll be there Fri/Sat....
