I want to get into racing but i dont know which one to get. I either want to get the team associated tc5, xray t2 007 us edition, or the team losi jrxs type r. Which one performs the best.

I'd take the TC5.

Are you going to be racing on carpet or pavement or just bashing?

xray is my 1st choice, the t2 is a great car the t2 007 is the same as the t2 but just a little more refined both are great cars, and i can only imgagine what the 008 will look like. my second choice would be the tc5 but im not to crazy about the motor placement, it sticks out to much, 3rd i like the tamiya trf415 and then the cyclone

you can get either style body kit for that price, I figure if I like TC I can get a higher quality one later, but this should be a good start

BobBabaganush,
The cars you listed are all good cars and will all perform well. Get the one that you WANT. I was more on a budget when I got my TC and if I asked this question most people would have told me TC4. I ended up getting a TA05 because that is what I wanted and I couldn't be happier with it. (I have both now and still prefer TA05) The point is if you get one based on what WE think you may end up kicking yourself in the rear later.

Okay that settles the deal, I'll soon own a Cyclone S in addition to my current Cyclone carbon fiber...
