Hey Stoney yes plz (will be a big help)

right now im sort of biasing it off of TIGS new era (tnks bud! ) and taking some inspiring looks at RICKS tt (simply amazing)
Bigmodman o ya theres going to be lots of over built parts and should all be riding on a hpi baja shocks.

you guys think a 29 cc will do good for moving this beast. if not i will just look for something more.

Ok speedy. im still looking when i can. Hey you want a good shock do what i did and get a lift support for a hood or trunk and drill a hole in the lower chamber to release the nitrogen. then sand it and fill the hole with J B weld then Build the top & bottom spring retainer and use valve springs from a real Engine. thet dont get any bigger or stronger than that. thats the type of setup that im making for my Beretta. would work Great on a truck two I got there link on my site. www.quarterscaleberetta.com

thats the one!

so i have about 4 months to get mine together for Monster Jam (if im envited) where it will see endless big jumps for the whole event.
with my current slow start (ERRR) and school starting in a qouple of weeks and my part time job the build is going to need all the time it can get.

i have some wierd ideas but should get this beast rolling.

Look at my Beretta in my gallery. they have all different sizes mine are 1' body x 3 1/3'' 1/2'' shaft 2 1/2'' total lengt is 6'' mine are the ones listed as 5.78'' $18.50 each.

wow those do look good!
going to need to see if theres anything suitable for the rear.
how is it when you push it down? maybe also need a shock with no spring just for dampening?

They push down easy after you release the nitrogen. you will defently need a spring there isint much force needed at all to compress it. im going with BB chevy valve springs for the Beretta. but there are also spring that would work at most home improvement stores like they use on spring Garage doors. and they have them in different strenghs as well. I think they would work Great on your truck exspecialy if you are going to be going off road with it. jumps and all.

Hey speedy if you do go with that shock setup when you go to release the nitrogen make a wood jig to put it in and screw it down through the eye holes and screw down a piece of wood on both sides a little taller than the lift support. then make a board for the top and drill a few holes down the center of it and line up one of the holes with the lower chamber on the lift support then screw that board down then use a punch to make the hole. there is alot of preasure in them things. i just sat my jig setup on the ground it wont move when you pop it. then drill the hole a little bigger so the epoxy will adhere good to it. I soaked them in hot soapy water for a few hours then comprssed up and down quite a few times then did the same in fresh hot water then let set to dry for a few days then filled the hole.

i understand what your saying, a pic wont hurt just to make sure.
you going to do any others soon? how did you get the springs in them????

the shock has more of a springy feeling right?
