Can't wait for the info from JC Mr. Humphries. I'm sure no matter what he says it won't put your mind at ease, only to further your doubt to the existence of not for profit educational entities.

If he does make a public statement it will totally undermine your argument you made all along. After all he will be making that statement to the membership who has [pressured him into it. I am sure it won't come until the lawyers are done writing it.
Well that depends on the nature of the discussion. You guys want to know details, details, details and I have a suspicion if the insider/rumors that LCS is spreading are true, then we'll more then likely hear an outline rather then all the details.

quote:

LCS: I have received information from two separate reliable sources that vindicates Steve K. I wish I could say more but I have not been given permission to expand any further at this moment. This may very well mean the end of AMA as we know it.
He is another example of his insider information which never came into the circle, so why would we assume that JC is going to make any kind of comment at all, because LCS said so???

I am surprised you weren't aware of these developments before now. Your sources are lagging behind mine now. I guess my crystal ball is less cracked than the one you have. The statement will be delivered at least one week before the grand opening of Central Park to model airplane flying you promised.

You need to get into the information loop!

Watching STL pedal backwards is so much fun...His position changes depending on the wind passed by the one just ahead of him.

JC’s statement will be enough to give STL the gas to get home from California…pedaling backwards.

Just keep your head down STL...the view never changes.

Isn't the NAA representative a non-voting member of the EC as well?

Not So. The NAA member is a voting member.

OTOH The NAA member Frequently does NOT attend, and when he does attend, Frequently he abstains, does not vote, or votes when the vote is "unanimous". In other words he is a member, may attend or not, may vote, yet generally allows AMA to run AMA business.

Easy to verify the above, by simply reading the EC Meeting Minutes on the AMA web.

Kid, Lcs Ect. When ever a position that Dion takes is shown to have another side he will back peddel so hard the chain comes off the sprocket. Oh wait his chain has never been on the sprocket, never mind! Guys Steve is gone, Cherry has won this round, all we can do is hope that when we get some new blood in the leadership positions that they will put him on a leash and a very short one at that. Because if this is an indication of the way he does buisness then I don't think the AMA will have to worry about what it will do in the future because I am not sure that it will be able to survive under his control. I guess we will see.

Funny but this is the position I peddled from the first post. The only difference is that JC didn't win, SK just simply lost.

maybe the Mods are keeping it open because the point is as valid now as page1:
We want some more info, and this is the thread that the DVPs would (& have) use to get us the info.

The reason they havent brought down some draconian Topic Restriction is that we are asking for info, not lynching. We, the ones asking for info, also are not flaming... that would be the occasional method of the No Questions Allowed group.

So in the end,
If folks would stop coming in her to demand we stop asking, it would die off. It would just age with some old post of us asking for info & no info ever follows up.... the thread would just slip away to page 7 of the forum.

But for some reason there are folks that not only want themselves in the dark about this, but want everyone else to be just as uninformed, and demand that nobody question anything the divine AMA does.

There sure is no shortage of folks here who want this matter kept quiet. There is also no shortage of folks who have taken a peek at this thread and are now more aware about how things work at AMA HQ. I'm sure that the founding fathers of the AMA rest well in their graves knowing that the lawn mowers are safe tonight.

Kid Epoxy,

Not Flaming?????? Just what is it that you call what you, "Fantastic Four", are doing among yourselves? The reason that some want this thing shut down has nothing to do with, "Truth."

You want the truth? Truth is that Steve Kaluf has been terminated for cause. Truth is that Jim Cherry had given a directive that was ignored (the motive matters not). The truth is that Jim Cherry backed up his directive with direct decision making (one of the cornerstones of good management). The truth is that some of you don't like it. The real truth is, you will do nothing but whine and complain about it. The sad truth is that you guys need to get a life.

The reason that we would like to see this thing shut down is that we (the majority of readers) are tired of the mindless and endless bickering that goes on in these threads between guys such as yourself, CP, 50%, STL, and a few others. There is only so much time available in each day, and I look in the AMA forum, in hopes of finding something new and different (what a joke) having to do with my favorite institution (the AMA). What do I get to read about? More of the same.

I'm beginning to feel that Dion is right. At least he possesses basic management skills. Give us a break, and move on to something that you and we have some control over.....Please.

Ok Stick, Let us put this into perspective. Have you ever disagreed with a decision made by "the ones in control"? If you have, did you express your discontent? Is it wrong to disagree with "the ones in control" and say so?

The Kid made the point that everyone is overlooking...if you and everyone else would refrain from posting to this thread it would just go to the bottom. Since you have recently posted you are no better than the rest of us...agree?

We all have opinions and as of now, with the info I have, I do not see sufficient cause to terminate SK as it appears to have transpired even if within JC discretion.

Now, I am perfectly within my right to maintain my opinion whether you or STL likes it or not.

Can you live with that and move on?
