Best Battery: Thunder Power Extreme or Flight Power Evo 25 (2000 - 2500mah)

Best Cyclic Servos: Hitec HS-65mg (best) or HS-65HB (good)

Best Gyro: Futaba GY401 or Logitech 2100T

Best tail servo: JR3400G (best) or Futaba 9650 (good)


There are plenty of good places to get stuff. Personally, I like www.tech-mp.com

Status: offline 		Battery manufacturers buy their batteries in bulk from some other place that makes the cells themselves. The difference between them all is the support that they offer the customer who buys the battery. The type and C rating of the battery you decide to get will depend on the type of flying you plan on doing. Actually everything depends on that. A heli equipped with all digital servos on cyclic and the tail and a Logitec2100t gyro powered by a 4s 5000mah LiPo would be useless to somebody who does scale flight.

I have:
Hitech HS-55 on cyclic
JR DS285 on the tail
eFlight G90 gyro
GWS 3s 2200mah LiPo

I haven't gotten into 3d yet but I know that my machine will handle 3d with aplomb when I start doing it.
