I could not find a heading for Venom Helicopters. So I guessed, I hope this question belongs here. Has anyone seem one of these or does anyone know anything about them? I saw one flying last night, in the hands of a very accomplished helicopter pilot, and it flew pretty well. I am wondering if it is an OK beginner rig or is it mostly just a toy or junk?
Thanks
Ron

It's a clone of the PicooZ (or Havoc Heli) by Silverlit. Lots of people are making versions of them now. You can get the Havoc Heli at Walmart, Target, or Toys R Us among others. Some of them fly better than others (even if you get two of the same kind). I would put it in the toy catagory, but I wouldn't call it junk (unless you get a lemon). They won't teach you about the more advanced helis, but they can get you hooked on the hobby!

The Walkera 5#6 and 5G6 are almost the same size as that and the Havoc but it's 4 channel with coaxial blades. Yeah it's a lot more $$ but it's hobby grade with a lot more control.
