is there any known problems with installing a modified bission wrap around muffler on the fuji 43ei , like getting to hot and not enughf power to go verticle in a gp cap 232 27% with a power point 20x10 prop only getting about 6600 rpms ? is the muffler to close to the fins for cooling fins ?

If the engine's overheating, you do need to consider the cooling airflow through the fins of the cylinder as well as the mass of the muffler. It's very common to not have enough cooling air passing THROUGH the cylinder's fins. You may need to add baffles to make sure the air actually cools the engine.

Large mufflers have their problems, too, because they have a lot of mass that needs to be cooled. You need to make sure the muffler gets cooling, too. If the muffler's too close to the engine, then cooling airflow can be problematic.
