Do any of you people know if a traxxas jato 3.3 2 speed transmission will fit in my losi xxx nt? Thanks

You could probably make it fit in one way or another. You can make anything fit if you have access to a dremel, drill press, and lathe!

jato tranny sucks period. tear up 2nd speed with every set of donuts.

sorry but i like 2 speeds. Will the dremeling make the tranny weaker? Also is there an aluminum version of the 2 speed tranny? Thanks

if there was an aluminum version of the jato tranny i would be the 1st one in line to buy it, but there aint, so be it. i dont think dremeling will do any harm, as long as the gears stay safe

ok thanks if any one has a used one the will sell tell me i need a cheap one incase it dosnt fit. I dont think there will be a problem my dad is a machinest in a big plant so he welds and works with any tool in a metal factory you can think of. Hes a handy man.

I'm planning on fitting an NTC3 2-speed tranny on my GT2, all I have to do is shorten the TC3 shaft to a bare minimum and drill a flat sided hole down the middle, then I can slip a rear slipper pad (To drive the brake disk), a washer (To keep the pad from touching the 2 speed gears), my assembled 2 speed setup, and a nut onto the stock diff shaft!! And the TC3 clutch bell fits on the GT2 clutch so it's brilliant!!!

How different are the gt2 and xxx nt tranny? Would that work on my xxx nt?
