Can anyone explain the proper method for tapping/drilling a hole into the throttle arm to screw the ball link/throttle push rod in to? What tool should be used? Do other people just use a simple clevis and not thread a screw into that tiny piece of metal?

Secondly, how does one attach some type of manual knob or switch to the choke to open/close it when the cowling is on? The arm that protrudes out from the choke points downward, not upward as on the ZDZ40. The carb is made by Walbro, and there is nothing to grab or attach to except the bottom arm.

Any help appreciated.

Although these photos cover the 80 I have, it is identical. Go here http://www.rcaerobats.net/Giles/Giles202-Main.htm#ENGINE , scroll down a bit, and you'll see several photos.

Hope this helps.

Thank you Bob. That was exactly what I was looking for. It did not seem immediately apparent to me, and the photos really help. Visuals usually are the way to go, so god bless digital cameras!
