Hi Guys

I just got my Honey Bee King II in today and boy am I upset. The company that sent me my King II
forgot to include the rest of my order. Which was a training set and an extra battery..

But the worste thing of all is that my Honey bee King II isn't responding. Here is the problem.

Honey Bee King turns on alright but does not recieve any signals from my transmitter.

If I hold up the Honey Bee King II to the side it automaticaly spins its blades causing it to get pretty
violent with me.

I'm not sure what to do.. I looked through the manual and not sure what I'm doing wrong

I was only testing out the controls too.

Break Down:

- Transmitter ON
- Plug in the batteries
- Hear something booting up and Sees red flashing gyro
- Nothing happens when I push anything on my tranmitter
- Writing this new Thread

Guys hope you guys can help me out.. cuz I'm really sad

Thanks for replying

ok i dont have HB KING but what i have is the HB FP..something like that happened to me so check the crystal on the Rx see if it came loose during shipping
unplug/replug it in

also check the AA batteries for the radio one cell might be bad...

on the back part of the radio there is a module....try to remove/replug it as well

and btw..please unplug the lipo battery while your doing any of these

there might be other fixes..so just watch out for other posts..hope you get it flying

Also
Unplug the motor!
Then you can see if the servos are responding with out the blades hitting you.
Wiggle antenna wires

thanks guys I'll try my best to see what the problem is, unpluggin the motor is a good idea.. should have thought about that in the first place.

When you say one cell maybe dead.. are you talking about one of the AA Batteries?

Crystal? Is it that tiny little thing that plugs into the Reciever and the Transmitter?
They have one each?

Thanks guys

Just to clear things up here is what I'm really concerned about:

My Heli spins its blades even when the Transmitter is turned off and it does the same thing when its turned on.

What maybe the problem here? I'm worried that the Heli may spin out of control all the time. This isn't good

NEVER...i repeat NEVER!!!!! turn the transmitter off while the heli is still on or turn the heli on while the transmitter is off

ALWAYS turn the transmitter on FIRST, THEN plug in the heli!!!!

try this...make sure the throttle and throttle trim are ALL THE WAY DOWN, (this is the stick that slides up and down without anything to make it center itself)
turn the transmitter ON then plug the battery into the heli
WAIT about 10-15 seconds until the light on the gyro stops blinking

Sounds like you are totally new to any R/C hobbies so i would HIGHLY suggest trying to locate a hobby shop near you so that maybe they can hook you up with someone who knows what they are doing and maybe even help you setup and test fly your heli for you!

BTW....i also HIGHLY recommend you invest in a R/C FLIGHT SIMULATOR as this will save you TONS of money in repairs

GOOD LUCK!

I've done what you suggested already and the blades spin by themselves...

I just broke a part on the heli and I didn't even touch the transmitter

and I do have a simulator

tried that... doesn't work...

There is just something wrong with it.. have no clue. It just spins when it wants to spin and stop when it wants to stop.

I got mine today too and the same happen to me.
It was ok then it went crazy.
Did try other crystal from my E-Sky Lama v4 channel 21 and the HBK2 was 19 so very close and still no good, I was even getting glitches.
I decided to install my JR 9303 with receiver and shure enough its all good now , I just have to adjust everything new now.

Its one nice little heli and very smooth too.

Makes you wander if its a wise idea to have such a product at such a low price but with a risky radio.
Not as bad for the Lama V4 since its not as dangerous but the HBK2 could hurt you very easely if out of control.

So the problem is the Crystal or is it the Reciever and Transmitter?

I'm really not happy, I got whacked in the face with mine and the Blade and part of the heli broke. Just my luck damnit

I wrote back to them explaining them the problem they told me to ship it back and they'll replace my new heli.. The crappy ass thing is, is that its huge and its gonna cost me a small fortune just to ship it back.

It's totally bogus damnit, if I can find the problem, I maybe able to send back the electronics, that would save me money on shipping it back to them.

I hate it.

The transmitter batteries should be replaced right away. Mine were almost DOA and did the same thing til I put new batteries in the transmitter.
