I have an infinity truck and its not free rolling. I dont think the brakes are rubbing because ive had the brakes the same way for a while now and it just started doing it pretty bad last night. and nothing is inside the gear box slowing it down at all. When i run it its fine but if i give it a push on flat ground it will stop within 2 seconds. Its rolling like the brakes are rubbing. so im not sure.

I have the brakes on my buggy set so that at idle they are slightly applied. Others around me have theirs the same way. Is this common practice or do most people allow their cars/trucks to free roll when at idle?

I leave mine so it rolls freely. The brake is set up so that it only takes a tiny bit of movement for them to be on though. Too much brake in idle will cause you to slide too much when cornering.
