Just my .02 cents but I would not bother and do business with O'brien hobbies. I have heard of some real horror stories about that place.
If Joe and Richard say to go with Donald's, then I would trust those two and go there.

MAN...OH...MAN...OH...MAN is the slow boat ever gonna arrive? I cant stand the wait, it is killing me. I think as son as this bad boy gets here i am going to invite the flying budddies over for a pizza encouraged all night build-a-thon.

Okay I am now taking bets.............................Who thinks that me and the boys can have it together in, OH, lets see 12 hrs or less.

From what Chris was telling me this plane should fly every bit as good as the Yak and is going to be about a pound lighter.

From what I have seen and looking at nick05's pictures and when Grahams build at the begining of this thread, this plane should go together very easily.

It's very similar to the 88" Yak, even the old 87" Yak is very similar build. The control horns take some time to do but what a great control horn they make, the best IMO. The stab servo mounts are also the best IMO. Heck all of Chris's ARF's are the best....ok I'm done.

This one has a Vess 23A. I love the Extra design and am very glad that we are finally getting the 50cc version to market. It's sleek, fast, agile and......well..... SEXY! There's just something about an Extra !

DROOL..........................DROOL.................................. Well I gotta change shirts agian. That plane looked great at the Huckfest. Man the boat has got to be getting close now. This is going to be one BAD A__ plane. I really liked the yellow and blue when I first saw it but after see the big Extra at the Huckfest in the red, white and blue I think that is my color now.

I dont think that I have ever anticipated a plane like this before.

JoeAirPort, the graphics are not included. The "sticker" type graphics we include with our smaller planes simply don't hold up well to gasoline, and vinyl grpahics are just too expensive to include. I get all of my graphics from a local sign shop, Vital Signs and Graphics. Jeff Dean is the owner and has the files for all of these graphics and most other RC logos. Give him a call at 770-889-4005 and he can hook you up.

Can anyone tell me the overall length and wing area of the Extra ? I've looked for the info on a number of forums as well as the manufacturers’ website but only find the wingspan.

I don't know exact... but I can make a semi educated guess... going to say around 86" long with a wingarea of around 1450. It's very similar to the yak for specs.
