Haha... well the spinner I left at home because I was testing props awhile back and it never made it back on yet haha and the wheel pants are off because I broke the hub on a light wheel and needed to offset the weight of the heavier wheels. I have replacement light ones here.. will be fixing that tonight or tomorrow

Right now I am still on the pitts muffler which is why I dont have decals on the cowl.. I have them here and a replacement cowl but I haven't gotten around to getting a replacement pipe yet. I am too busy flying the heck out of

Well I have flown the new EF extra 300 with the new Area 51. Plane and engine are flying pretty good. Had to give a click of up other than that flew pretty good. Will be tweaking everything for the next week or so.

What does pretty good mean on a scale of 1 to 10?

The plane flies like a dream.. easily gets a 9 or a 10.

Depending how you fly on a stock muffler you will be very happy.... probably want some power if you are doing advanced 3D or Sportsman and above IMAC. Throw a pipe on it and you will be more than happy and get those high numbers again across the board.

Just like any plane, the 1st flight is not the one to rate it. Usually there are too many things to get right before it's flying like you want it. If you read his last sentence that's pretty much what he's doing. I love mine, but I still need to move the CG back, lean the engine a little more, and adjust the incedences. I'd rather fly than tweak lately so that's what I've been doing.

I have this setup in my 88 yak, using a 23 x 8 mejzlik @720mm length, pulls it round like a b****h! on 50:1 synthetic...awesome motor with the KS. And the extra is 2lb lighter ...I have an 88" extra too on an ES pipe but the KS is better, not so peaky.

PPS: I have the 110 Yak on 2 x ES pipes and they are the last i will buy....stick with KS..

Ok tired of my landing gear spreading apart. No hard landings just normal landings. Time to change to carbon gear.
Been searching for some extreme flight extra specific ones but have not found any. Any thoughts on what to get?

Zoomer 199: Check with Graphtec RC. Their web is graphtecrc.com. I have an EF 88 " Yak and they made one for me. It works great. When I need one for my extra 300 I will call them because they do not list one yet. My yak gear spread and bounced like crazy everytime I landed easy or hard. This carbon corrected this.

I actually like the stock gear. Id rather it give then have the fuse take all the hit..Sucks it right up.. Anyone try the supergear,I think it is? Its supposed to have a little more give then the Graphtec..

What a great day flying. This thing is getting dialed in. I got the Brillelli turning a Xoar 22x8 at 7200 RPM's and I think it still has more to go when it gets further broken in. Perfect power plant for this ARF. I really flew the heck out of this thing today. 3D or IMAC it can do it all very very well.
