Yes, It comes with pilot head, Dash Panel, and cockpit floor. No it does not have Carbon Fiber LG. You guys who are on the waiting list will be getting yours in a few weeks. According to Chris H., That shipement is nearly sold out, but will have more coming a few weeks after that. You guys who want one should contact www.extremeflightrc.com and get on the waiting list. Am doing the 110" Yak 54 build first, then 50cc Extra.

Is this Extra truely 88.5 inch wing span? And Can I assume the length is about the same? Trying to determine if it'll fit in my Honda Accord. An 85 inch WS gasser does but 88.5" might not.

I dont think a price has been offically released... Probably similar to the 88 Yak though.

I see you posted a bunch of polls... while polls are ok and will give you a general idea. Without reading through a bunch of threads you are only getting a brief over view. There are many things about the products available in this hobby that might make you not agree with the poll.

For example... there is only a handful of people who have flown this plane. So it would be hard to get an accurate picture. Another thing is engines... DA has out sold most of the 50cc engine companies around we are talking 1000s of engines... while others may have only sold hundreds. .. surely more would be available to vote for a DA, if they all spent time on RCU.

The Extra is about 2 inches longer than the yak fuselage wise.

I can fit the extra in my peugeot 106 hatchback so you chould have no problems

Price has not been released but I would say that you could bet on the same $650 as the Yak. If this is the case I can garuntee that it will be worth every cent of it. Chris put some awesome hardware with his planes.

nick05
Thanks for rubbing it in......lol Congrats on the plane now lets see it in the air what are you waiting on.

Chris told me $650 plus shipping via e-mail, so I would say that is the price. I am on the waiting list. One of the rare times I will be excited to pay $700 for something. I want it so bad...

Does anybody know if there is any decals that go on the fuse. behind the canopy. Looking at the pics on page 1 or 2 it looks like it just needs somthing back there.

Love this plane probably will be my first gasser if the flight reports go well! (which they should)

rc-plane, from what the guys across the pond have been saying and after talking to Chris Hinson about the plane, I dont think there is enough concern to worry about not going ahead and getting on the waiting list for the plane. If there is one person that I respect and trust in this hobby it would have to be Chris and the Extreme Flight guys. If they say that it flies great then I am confident that it will fly great.

I have been on the waiting list since last November. I dont know for sure but I may be the person that started the waiting list. When I heard that EF would be bringing out an Extra and after flying the electric Extra I was hooked and knew that I had to have one.

Most big planes come with minimal graphics... most people prefer (including myself) to design my own grahics. When you have an idea of what you want simply call up bad brad graphics and tell him what you want.. he will send you a proof and then once approved cut the vinyl and send it. www.badbradgraphics.com

As far as flight reports there already have been some and some video early in this thread.

I have flown it and it flies great which is why I am already getting one
